EBAA Pilot Research Grants are awarded for a one-year award cycle. Grant recipients must abide by the guidelines and parameters stated below and submit the required information throughout the award period.
Grant Parameters
Grant recipients agree to the following parameters when accepting the grant funds.
- Limit expenditures to the items indicated in the budget submitted for the project.
- Follow the criteria and parameters laid out on the Application Information page.
- Submit a 6-Month Progress Report (Deadline: Jan. 31)
- Submit a Final Report (Deadline: August 31).
- Return all unexpended funds to the EBAA.
- Credit EBAA’s funding support in any presentation or publications resulting from this research.
- Submit an abstract of the research for inclusion in an EBAA event or publication.
Award Cycle
The Pilot Research Grant award cycle is one-year. The project cycle is July 1 – June 30. The Final Report is due August 31 (after the one-year term).
6-Month Progress Report
Recipients must submit a 6-month progress report form by January 31.
Final Report
At the end of the one-year award cycle of the EBAA Pilot Research Grant (July -June), grant recipients are required to submit a final report about the research that was conducting using the grant. Please submit the form below by August 31.
Published Research and Presentations
EBAA requests acknowledgment for all publications resulting from this grant.
EBAA requires presentation of relevant study results at an EBAA-sponsored meeting or publication in Eye Banking and Corneal Transplantation. EBAA presentation opportunities include the EBAA Scientific Symposium during the Annual Meeting in June and the Cornea and Eye Banking Forum.
