Candidate Statement
I have dedicated more than half of my life to the overall mission of eye banking and helping donors and donor families provide safe transplant grafts for recipients in need. My eye banking experience started as an overnight eye bank and donor recovery technician and I have served in nearly every role possible working my way to executive director with Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Bank. I possess a deep knowledge and expertise in eye banking and the diverse audiences we serve. As an At-Large Director, I believe my past experience and current passion for learning could add value to the EBAA board, the future strategic direction of the association and the common greater good of the eye bank EBAA membership.
