Candidate Statement
I believe the future of eye banking will be shaped by leaders who honor our foundational values while having the courage to think expansively about what is possible. Throughout my career, I have led with a clear vision: to protect the integrity of donation, strengthen the people who do the work, and position our profession to thrive amid scientific, regulatory, and societal change. My leadership experience – from operational teams to executive governance – has reinforced the importance of listening deeply, aligning diverse perspectives, and making thoughtful, mission-driven decisions.
As eye banking evolves, EBAA has a unique opportunity to lead not only as a standards-setting organization, but as a catalyst for innovation, collaboration, public trust and professional unity.
As an At-Large Director, I will bring a broad, strategic perspective and a commitment to inclusive leadership. My goal is to help the board think boldly, act responsibly, and support members across all roles and regions. I am dedicated to advancing a shared vision for eye banking – one that is resilient, innovative, and worthy of the extraordinary gift entrusted to us.
