Candidate Statement
As eye banking continues to evolve, the strength of our profession will depend on how effectively we work together to navigate the opportunities and challenges ahead. Advances in science and technology are reshaping the field and will likely influence how our organizations operate and deliver services. Adapting to these changes will require thoughtful planning, strategic foresight, and a willingness to evolve while maintaining the high standards that define our profession. As our field evolves, the EBAA will play an important role in bringing members together to explore new opportunities for meaningful partnership and shared resources that can strengthen all member eye banks and prepare our profession for the future.
Through my service with EBAA, I have seen firsthand that the strongest and most sustainable solutions emerge through collaboration, open dialogue, and a willingness to explore creative ideas while remaining grounded in the core principles that have long guided our profession. If elected, I would be honored to continue contributing to these conversations and help ensure that EBAA evolves in ways that support all members and help shape the future of our profession.
