Candidate Statement
I am honored to be nominated for consideration as a board member of the Eye Bank Association of America. I am eager to contribute my 22 years of eye banking experience, skills, and dedication to help further the EBAA’s goals and vision.
My two decades of experience at VisionGift has provided me opportunities to develop a deep understanding of operational and strategic aspects of eye banking from tissue recovery to senior leadership. As the Senior VP of Surgical Services and Business Intelligence, it is critical that I understand the challenges that threaten eye bank sustainability and problem solve through collaboration and operational efficiency.
This collaboration extends beyond VisionGift; I have had the pleasure of cooperating with many different eye banks over the years, which has expanded my understanding of the diverse membership. I am excited to use this experience to serve the EBAA and its members.
I look forward to the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team of individuals who share a common vision and contribute to the success of the EBAA.
