Candidate Statement
During the course of my career in a profession near and dear to me, one constant that has held true during the past 25+ years has been change. Member eye banks, along with committed team members who help fulfill each of their organizations’ mission each day, grapple with the seemingly never-ending changes occurring across our landscape. The profession has changed quite drastically since I began my career in eye banking and now, coupled with the impact of uncertainty surrounding our country’s current administration, it may change further in ways previously unimagined.
Based on my experience, as well as actively engaging with the Board of Directors for several years as an at-large member, I am well-equipped to continue providing my expertise and thoughtful input to help guide our Association and members through uncertain and challenging times.
It would be an honor to continue representing the membership to further advance efforts of the Association as well as assist to navigate these unprecedented times. I thank you for considering me for the opportunity to continue to serve you.
