The EBAA Travel Grant Program is to provide travel support to corneal fellows and residents who demonstrate potential for future involvement in eye banking and corneal transplantation and whose research findings are selected to be presented at the EBAA Scientific Symposium on June 6 in Indianapolis, during the 2026 EBAA Annual Meeting. EBAA is seeking to engage young ophthalmologists in the future of eye banking through involvement in the EBAA’s educational programs. EBAA will award grants up to $1,500 to applicants whose abstracts have been accepted for presentation or poster to help cover costs associated with traveling to the meeting. Meeting registration must still be paid.
This grant is only open to individuals who submitted an abstract as First Author for the Scientific Symposium and are currently in a Cornea Fellowship, residency program, or are a medical student. If you have not submitted an abstract, please do so before applying for the grant.
The EBAA Scientific Symposium will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 8:00am-11:30 am at the JW Marriot in Indianapolis, IN.
