EBAA appreciates support in our mission to #RestoreSight worldwide. Getting involved is easy – here are some ways you can help.
Register as a donor
Right now, there is no artificial cornea. Sight-restoring corneal transplantations can only be performed using the donated tissue of a human donor who has passed away. The most important thing you can do is register as an eye, organ, tissue donor. Register online through the National Donate Life Registry, or at your local DMV.
Donate to EBAA
If you are interested in making a donation to support EBAA’s mission, you may do so here. Various donation amounts are available. You must create an account to complete the donation.
Share Your Loved One’s Story
Are you a donor family member or a corneal transplant recipient? Personal stories about generous donors, or from grateful recipients are the most powerful tool to educate about eye donation, the importance of registration, and the impact of the gift of sight. Consider sharing your story with EBAA.
Volunteer with your local eye bank
EBAA Member eye banks may be in need of volunteers to help with events and programs. Visit the Find Your Local Eye Bank page to locate the eye bank closest to you.
