Candidate Bio
Vicki Adler, RN, BSN, CEBT, is an accomplished Executive Director for the Lions Eye Bank of the Northeast. Vicki is adept in fostering collaboration and driving strategic improvements for operational efficiency. She has a proven track record in enhancing organizational performance and securing funding, leveraging expertise in compliance and team building. Vicki is skilled in public speaking and relationship management, with significant contributions as a DLNYS member.
Candidate Statement
I am thrilled to submit my application for the position of At-Large Director for the EBAA Board of Directors. As a nurse, I have dedicated my entire life to serve in the interest of others. Choosing to work for a non-for-profit organization for more than 30 years has helped me to develop the ability to utilize our corporate assets and funds effectively to allow the Lions Eye Bank of the Northeast to grow and prosper.
As medical and technological advances evolve daily, we need to have a clear direction and be able to pivot when necessary. I believe in good corporate governance- setting goals and priorities. I possess the ability to make effective decisions that will be in the best interests of EBAA and the membership.
I am committed to being an active and engaged board member and I am prepared to dedicate the time and energy necessary to keep EBAA organizationally strong. I also have the support of my family and of my team at the Lions Eye Bank of the Northeast.
