The Governance Committee announced the slate of candidates for election to the 2022 EBAA Board of Directors. Elections take place during the House of Delegates (HOD) meeting, to be held on June 3 at 3:45pm in Baltimore, during our Annual Meeting
Each accredited member eye bank is allocated votes in accordance with bylaws section 3.2A; these may be cast in all issues brought before the HOD. Unaccredited banks are allocated one vote, which can only be cast to elect the Speaker of the House and to vote on non-binding issues brought before the HOD. Refer to the table below for vote allocations by eye bank.
Bylaws Amendments
The HOD will vote on one bylaws amendment this year. This amendment would formalize the definition of an eye bank for organizational and operational purposes.
Candidate Elections
The House of Delegates will elect the Chair-Elect, Secretary-Treasurer and Speaker of the House. Delegates will also elect three At-Large Board members from a slate of four candidates. The top three vote getters will be elected to two-year terms; there will be no run-off votes.
