EBAA is collecting proposals and abstracts for presentation consideration at the EBAA 2026 Annual Meeting. The meeting features keynote presentations, concurrent sessions, workshops, a scientific session and much more. - Call for Presentation Proposals – Deadline: December 5, 2025
- EBAA is requesting suggestions for topics and speakers for #EBAA2026. The Annual Meeting features presentations on various topics of importance and relevance to eye banking professionals and medical directors. If you are interested in presenting at the Annual Meeting, submit a presentation proposal today!
- Call for Scientific Abstracts – Deadline: February 2, 2026
- EBAA is accepting scientific abstract submissions for presentation consideration at the 2026 Scientific Symposium on Saturday, June 6, 2026. The Scientific Symposium features the latest research, innovation and science in eye banking and cornea. Present your research at the eye banking meeting of the year, submit an abstract for consideration.

Audio/Visual Set-up
EBAA provides a computer, projector and appropriate microphones for the session and room type.
Presentations
- Format: Microsoft PowerPoint, 16:9 format
- The EBAA Powerpoint template is coming soon.
- Submission Deadline: Tuesday, May 19, 2026
- Submit presentations to Herocia Hawkins. If the presentation is too large, a Dropbox folder invitation can be requested.
Meeting App
With permission, EBAA will load your presentation into the meeting app as a PDF. Your speaker bio and headshot, as well as your presentation title and summary is also included in the meeting app.
Meeting Audience
The EBAA Annual Meeting audience is comprised of eye bank professionals and corneal surgeons. The size of the audience depends on the session.
- General Session: 200-350 attendees
- Concurrent Session: 60-100 attendees
Guidelines
Please follow the presentation guidelines below:
- Presentations must be free of commercial bias for or against any product.
- Presentations that include commercial products must present objective information about those products, based on scientific methods generally accepted in the medical community.
- The preponderance of slides included in the presentation should reflect original thoughts and organization of the speaker.
- It is the responsibility of the presenter to obtain written permission for print inclusion of material that is under copyright protection.
- Must offer a balanced presentation of all available trial data that is pertinent to the topic.
- The preponderance of data presented from clinical trials should be from peer-reviewed publications.
- Do not include identifiers for patients or donors.
- Preferred Terminology:
- Recover/ recovered or procure/procured instead of harvest/ harvested
- Donor instead of cadaver (ocular donor or cornea donor also acceptable)
- Whole eye or eye instead of globe
