Thank you for agreeing to be a speaker at the 2025 EBAA Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA. In preparation for the meeting, please review the information below and use the form on this page to submit your bio, headshot, and presentation information. EBAA looks forward to having you present in San Diego in June!

Audio/Visual Set-up
EBAA provides a computer, projector and appropriate microphones for the session and room type.
Presentations
- Format: Microsoft PowerPoint, 16:9 format
- Please use the EBAA PowerPoint Template when creating your presentation.
- Submission Deadline: Tuesday, June 10, 2025
- Submit presentations to Herocia Hawkins. If the presentation is too large, a Dropbox folder invitation can be requested.
Meeting App
With permission, EBAA will load your presentation into the meeting app as a PDF. Your speaker bio and headshot, as well as your presentation title and summary is also included in the meeting app.
Meeting Audience
The EBAA Annual Meeting audience is comprised of eye bank professionals and corneal surgeons. The size of the audience depends on the session.
- General Session: 200-350 attendees
- Concurrent Session: 60-100 attendees
Guidelines
Please follow the presentation guidelines below:
- Presentations must be free of commercial bias for or against any product.
- Presentations that include commercial products must present objective information about those products, based on scientific methods generally accepted in the medical community.
- The preponderance of slides included in the presentation should reflect original thoughts and organization of the speaker.
- It is the responsibility of the presenter to obtain written permission for print inclusion of material that is under copyright protection.
- Must offer a balanced presentation of all available trial data that is pertinent to the topic.
- The preponderance of data presented from clinical trials should be from peer-reviewed publications.
- Do not include identifiers for patients or donors.
- Preferred Terminology:
- Recover/ recovered or procure/procured instead of harvest/ harvested
- Donor instead of cadaver (ocular donor or cornea donor also acceptable)
- Whole eye or eye instead of globe
