2026 Cornea and Eye Banking Forum Case Study

2026 Forum Case Study Submission Form

Back by popular demand, the 2026 Cornea and Eye Banking Forum will feature a Case Study discussion session highlighting interesting and unique cases presented by Cornea Fellows. The presentations will be 3 minutes long with a dynamic panel discussion following each presentation.

EBAA and Cornea Society are requesting case studies for presentation at the Forum. The program chairs are requesting two types of cases:

1) Surgical – How do I get out of this?
These presentations should include a video of a surgical procedure that highlights a difficult situation. This will lend itself to a discussion about how to navigate the situation. The presenter will present while the video plays.

2) Clinical – Rarities and Oddities- I don’t know what this is!
These presentations will highlight unique and interesting clinical cases and must include photos to accompany the case. The panel will discuss the case and share their thoughts on diagnosis and management. The speaker will then be able to share any follow up information about the case.

Presenter Eligibility: Individuals currently serving in a Cornea Fellowship (Including individuals completing their Fellowship in 2026 or starting their Fellowship in 2026.) If you are a Cornea Fellow and are interested in presenting a case study, please complete the form below. Deadline: Friday, July 31, 2026

Case Study Information

Type of Case(Required)
We are looking for two types of case studies, surgical or clinical.

Surgical: Difficult or tricky situations where you you ask others how they would navigate the situation and use video to show how you navigated the situation.

Clinical: Rarities and Oddities – unique cases or situations where there was uncertainty about the case or situation.
Write a brief summary about the case study you would like to present.

Surgical: If the case is surgical, please include the type of procedure, what the unique situation or circumstance was, how you navigated the situation, and the video that you will include.

Clinical: If the case is clinical, please include the issue, condition, or unique situation, how you navigated the situation, and the photos that will be included.
