I am committed to the mission and the vision of the EBAA, and will help champion the restoration of sight as Chair-Elect. With your support, I will uphold the values of the Association and its members, and help guide us into the future as an organization. I recognize that there is a lot of change happening within our profession. But I still believe that collaboration, camaraderie, and a focus on our communal mission will allow us to succeed in the future.
I have had the privilege of serving on numerous committees within the EBAA over the past decade. As Vice Chair and now Chair of the MAB, I believe I have demonstrated my ability to listen and understand new issues/concerns, and to guide the development of appropriate policies. As a member of the Board of Directors, I have been active in strategic planning for our organization, and look forward to continuing to advance our goals.
I have been fortunate, in my career and in life, to have people around me who have supported me. I would not be here now if not for them. As Chair-Elect, I look forward to paying it forward, and supporting the growth and endeavors of our members and our association.
