Keynote Presentation

Kenneth P. Moritsugu, MD, MPH, FACPM

Rear Admiral, USPHS (Retired)
Former Surgeon General of the United States

Rear Admiral Kenneth Moritsugu served as the Acting Surgeon General of the United States, in 2002 and again from July 2006 until his retirement from the Commissioned Corps of the United States Public Health Service (USPHS) in September 2007. Dr. Moritsugu has been committed to donation and transplantation since the 1990s, when his wife and daughter became eye, organ, and tissue donors, and in 2016, served as the keynote speaker at the White House Summit on Organ Donation.


EBAA has reserved a block of rooms at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel at the special meeting rate of $209/night and we encourage you to reserve your room in the EBAA block.

EBAA Opening Night Reading Terminal Market TAKEOVER

On Wednesday, June 6, EBAA will take over the historic Reading Terminal Market for an after-hours event exclusively for annual meeting attendees. Tickets for this event include food from local vendors representing a variety of Philadelphia favorites and delicacies, beer and wine, hands-on demonstration stations, and opportunities for networking and socializing. We hope you will join us for a fun and memorable evening in the heart of Philadelphia! This event requires a separate registration.

2018 Board of directors slate

The Board of Directors elections will be held at the House of Delegates meeting on Friday, June 8. Information on the 2018 Board of Directors Candidates, including candidate biographies, personal statements, history of EBAA service and letters of support are now available.
